Candy Cane 5K
The Candy Cane 5K takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The course runs on paved roads across the Cairn campus and on surrounding neighborhood streets and includes rolling terrain.

- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile fun run/walk
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Pre-registration fees vary by category; a separate fee applies for the virtual option. Limited on-site registration may be available as space permits.
All registrants receive a long sleeve race shirt. Participants also receive candy canes, hot chocolate and marshmallows, Christmas cookies, and post-race water and bananas. Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female winners and age group prizes. Additional prizes recognize the top costumes for individuals and for teams of three or more.
The Candy Cane 5K is organized by Cairn University with community partners to raise funds for the New Horizon Scholarship Fund at Cairn. New Horizons provides support to new mothers who continue their education and offers full tuition scholarship recipients academic support and a Christian campus community.
