Candy Cane 5K
The Candy Cane 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026 at Cairn University, 200 Manor Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. The event is held on paved roads that run through the Cairn University campus and surrounding neighborhood streets and is described as a rolling terrain course. A virtual participation option is available over the weekend of December 4 to December 7, 2026.

- 1 mile fun run/walk
The event has a candy cane theme and encourages festive attire such as seasonal sweaters, Santa outfits, or group costumes. Prizes are awarded to top finishers and for Christmas themed costumes for both individuals and teams of three or more. All registrants receive a long sleeve T shirt, candy canes, hot chocolate with marshmallows, Christmas cookies, and post race water and bananas.
The run is a collaboration between Cairn University, ChoiceOne, AlphaCare and RUN 12:1 Running Club to raise funds for the New Horizon Scholarship Fund at Cairn University. The scholarship initiative provides support to new mothers who chose to give birth despite interruptions to their educational and career plans; recipients of full tuition support also receive academic assistance and a nurturing Christian community.
