About the race
Prime View Cross Duathlon and Triathlon takes place at Prime View, Southward Dr, Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. The event features off-road multisport formats combining trail run, mountain bike and swim across several age and distance categories.

- Cross Duathlon Sprint : 16.5 km
- Cross Duathlon Standard : 32.5 km
- Cross Duathlon Fun : 9.6 km
- Cross Triathlon Fun : 8.45 km
- Cross Triathlon Sprint : 15.5 km
- Cross Triathlon Standard : 30.5 km
- Duathlon Standard Team : 32 km
- Triathlon Standard Team : 33 km
Race formats and course distances for the main races are:
- Standard Cross Triathlon: 1500 m swim, 6 km bike, 3 km run
- Short Fun Cross Triathlon: 200 m swim, 10 km bike, 1.2 km run
- Sprint Cross Triathlon: 750 m swim, 18 km bike, 1.2 km run
- Standard Cross Duathlon: 6 km run, 36 km bike, 3 km run
- Short Fun Cross Duathlon: 1.2 km run, 10 km bike, 1.2 km run
- Sprint Cross Duathlon: 2.4 km run, 18 km bike, 1.2 km run
A bright swim cap is compulsory for swimmers. There is a water point at the start and finish and additional water points on course. All finishers receive a medal and live timing is provided by BoutTime. The event is an official Discovery Vitality Racing Event and Momentum Multiply event and awards podium prizes.
