Pretzel Run : Louisville Community Park, Louisville CO
The Pretzel Run is a German-themed community running event held at Louisville Community Park, 955 Bella Vista Drive, Louisville CO 80027. The event offers multiple distances and a post-race festival with a beer garden, live German-style music and a sports expo.

Entries include a traditional 500 ml German glass beer mug used at the on-site beer garden, a large warm pretzel, a finisher medallion with a Bavarian colored ribbon, and on-course or post-race snacks. The kids mile includes a kids cup, finisher medal, Capri-SUN and a pretzel. The event uses timing chips and awards overall prizes to the top runner in each age group.
Packet pickup is available at Louisville Runners Roost before race day and is not mandatory. The post-race festival takes place at the start/finish area and features a beer garden with wine options, German mustards and themed merchandise, a DJ and live band playing polka and related music, and an awards ceremony at the finish area. The Pretzel Run started as part of Louisville Oktoberfest and has sold out in past years. Registration for the 2026 edition is open with early, regular and late fee tiers for each distance.
