Preston Fast 5 Road Race
The Preston Fast 5 Road Race is a 5 km road race held at the University of Lancashire Sports Arena in Preston on 17 June 2026. The course is traffic free, flat and made up of three laps on a one-mile lap cycle track, with no tight corners and an accurately measured route. The event is described as a no frills race with no prizes.
Entries open on 1 May 2026 and close on 15 June 2026. Entry fees are listed as £7.00 for UKA members and £9.00 for non members. The minimum age is 16 on the day of the race. There is a strict policy against deferred entries or transfers and no entries are accepted on the day.
There are two timed races on the evening, organised by performance standard: Race 1 for sub 18:00 times and Race 2 for over 18:00 times. Each race has an entry limit of 60 runners. Race numbers can be collected on race day from 5.45pm. Toilet facilities are available at the Sports Arena.
