Preston Fast 5 Road Race
The Preston Fast 5 Road Race is a 5K held on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at the University of Lancashire Sports Arena in Preston. The course is flat, traffic free and consists of three laps on a one mile lap cycle track. The route is accurately measured and intended for runners seeking a fast time. The event is staged as part of a series of Wednesday evening races in spring and early summer. Each meeting includes two races split by target finishing time - Race 1 for sub 18:00 minutes and Race 2 for over 18:00 minutes - with an entry limit of 60 participants for each race. The minimum age on race day is 16 years.
Entries open Friday 1 May 2026 and close Monday 15 June 2026. Entry fees listed are £7.00 for UKA members and £9.00 for non members. Entries must be made in advance via the event entry system and there are no entries on the day. Race numbers are collected on race day. Toilet facilities are available at the Sports Arena.
