Presidio Wall 5K - San Francisco
The Presidio Wall 5K is a road and trail running event based at Presidio Wall Playground in San Francisco, at West Pacific Avenue and Spruce Street. The event is organized by DSE Runners and lists an individual entry option priced at $10.
The course includes a mix of surfaces: sand, grass, wood chips, paved roads, trails, and bike paths. The route features repeated changes in grade, described as a quick uphill followed by a long downhill, a return section with about a ½ mile uphill, a long slow downhill, and a final sequence with an uphill before a roughly 200 yard downhill finish. The course layout passes through different park areas and provides views of the Presidio.
Start and finish are located at the lawn area adjacent to Presidio Wall Playground near Pacific and Spruce Avenue. Free street parking is available in adjacent neighborhoods. All participants receive finisher ribbons; place ribbons are awarded to the top five overall in Men, Women, and Non-Binary categories.
