Presidio Wall 5K - San Francisco, October 18, 2026
The Presidio Wall 5K is a five kilometer road and trail event held at the Presidio Wall Playground in San Francisco. The course starts and finishes at the lawn area adjacent to the playground near West Pacific Avenue and Spruce Street.
The route covers a mix of surfaces, including grass, sand, wood chips, trails, bike paths, and paved roads. The course profile includes a short initial uphill, a long downhill, a half mile uphill section, another long downhill, and a final uphill before a roughly 200 yard downhill finish. These features make the surface and slope changes a notable part of the route.
On event day there is free street parking in adjacent neighborhoods. All participants receive finisher ribbons. Place ribbons are awarded to the top five overall in the Men, Women, and Non-Binary divisions. The event is organized by DSE Runners. The race is held rain or shine and no refunds are offered.
