SGRAIL Marin - Triathlon & Trail Half Marathon

SGRAIL Marin is a multi-day endurance weekend held October 2–4, 2026 at McNear’s Beach Park in San Rafael, California. The program includes an Olympic-distance triathlon, an Olympic relay, a trail half marathon, a combined SGRAIL Challenge (both race days) and a kids Fun Event for ages 13 and under.

Distances and formats:

• Olympic Triathlon : 1,500 m swim / 40K bike / 10K run
• Olympic Relay (2–3 people) : 1,500 m swim / 40K bike / 10K run
• Trail Half Marathon : 13.1 mi / 21K
• SGRAIL Challenge : Triathlon plus Trail Half Marathon
• Kids Fun Event : 1 mile bike / 0.6 mile run

Registration opens June 26, 2026 and fees vary by event. Published entry fees include $200 for the Olympic Triathlon, $265 for the Olympic Relay, $90 for the Trail Half Marathon, $260 for the SGRAIL Challenge, and a free kids event. Event logistics note bib pick-up at Sports Basement Novato (tentative) and additional pick-up at the park; transition access is restricted on Friday with gear pick-up required on the scheduled following day because there are no overnight bike holds.
