Precious Life's Run for Life 5k/2mi Race
Precious Life, Inc organizes the 2nd Annual Run for Life in Altoona, Pennsylvania, with events that start and finish at the Altoona Curve stadium and proceed toward Lakemont Park. The course begins with one lap around the stadium warning track before exiting the stadium, continues toward Lakemont Park, and concludes back at the Curve stadium.

- 5k - 3.1 miles
- 2 mile run
- 2 mile walk
Registration is $25 through June 26. Day of race registration is $30. Children under age five may participate without a fee. Participants who register before June 4 will receive a race t-shirt. Registration opens April 10 and closes June 26.
Awards recognize overall top finishers in the 5k and in the 2 mile run and walk for male and female categories. Additional awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each event across these age groups: 6-11, 12-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79+.
All proceeds will benefit Precious Life pregnancy centers located in Altoona, Johnstown, and Bedford. Participants may also raise funds on behalf of Precious Life; the top three fundraisers receive Precious Life swag, additional prizes, and recognition on race day.
