PRA Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival
The PRA Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival takes place on October 3, 2026 at Prospect Ridge Academy, 2555 Preble Creek Pkwy, Broomfield, CO. The event is the 16th annual fundraiser and proceeds benefit Prospect Ridge Academy, a public charter K-12 school with an intensified math and science focus.
The event program includes these distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Fall Festival only admission
The 5K course runs from PRA's track, along the canal behind the school, through parts of the Anthem neighborhood, around the park southwest of the school, back along the canal, and finishes at the track.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in each division. Medal divisions include elementary, middle school, high school, and adult age 19 and over. Overall medalists are not counted in their age division. Same-day packet pickup is available. Fall Festival wristbands are included with 5K and 1 Mile registrations; wristbands are also available separately.
The Fall Festival takes place on the school grass field and features gold panning, a Ninja Nation obstacle course, a dunk tank with an extra participation fee, face painting, arts and crafts, carnival games and prizes, food trucks, a photo area, and participation by the Broomfield Police Department.
Pricing is offered in tiers: early bird pricing through September 14, regular pricing from September 15 through October 3, and higher same-day pricing at the event. Specific race fees vary by distance and registration period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
