PRA Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival
Prospect Ridge Academy presents the Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival on October 3, 2026 at 2555 Preble Creek Pkwy, Broomfield, CO. Proceeds benefit Prospect Ridge Academy, a public charter school serving K through 12 with an intensified math and science focus.
Event distances and options include:
- 5K: Course from the PRA track along the canal through the Anthem neighborhood back to the track.
- 1 Mile Fun Run: Heats by grade on the track with 1 to 4 laps.
- Fall Festival Only: Festival access on the PRA high school field with family activities.
The 5K route follows PRA's track, runs along the canal behind the school, passes parts of the Anthem neighborhood, circles the park southwest of the school, and returns to the track.
Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Medal divisions are Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Adult age 19 plus, with separate male and female recognitions. Those who medal overall are not counted in their age division.
Registration pricing is tiered. Early bird May 1 through September 13, regular September 14 through October 2, and same day on October 3 each have specified fees for the 5K and 1 Mile events. Fall Festival wristbands are included with 5K and 1 Mile registration; wristbands are also available separately. Festival attractions include gold panning, an obstacle course, carnival games, food trucks, face painting, arts and crafts, and a photo area.
