2026 Powhatan Pursuit 5k, 10k and Half
The Powhatan Pursuit takes place at Powhatan State Park on November 1 and includes multiple race distances that count toward Bishop’s Events series standings. Points from this event apply to the Year‑Long 5k, 10k, Endurance and Back of the Pack series, and also to the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available.
Distances offered:
- Half marathon two loops of the route shown.
- 10k two loops of the 5k route.
- 5k one loop route.
The course runs through Powhatan State Park and is partly paved and partly trail with rolling hills. The half marathon course includes nine water stations at specified mile markers; the 10k has three water stations and the 5k has one. Gatorade is available at some water stations. Restrooms are onsite.
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical drifit event shirt (shirts guaranteed for entries before Oct 21), and the races are chip timed. Live race results are posted online and via an on‑site QR code; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event. Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age group places. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered.
