About the race
New Year 5K & 10K at Midlothian is a local road running event held on 12/31/2026 in Midlothian, Virginia. The event takes place at 13301 N Woolridge Rd, and offers two race distances along a marked course. Organizers provide results and finisher medals. Race staff are present but events are run with a small-team approach.
Participants can choose between two distances and pay a registration fee for each:
- 5K
- 10K
Registration details include a fee of $30.00 for the 5K and $45.00 for the 10K, with registration closing on 12/31/2026. US Road Running events typically have limited on-site resources: one or two staff members, no EMS stationed on site, and water stations kept at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Runners and walkers should plan for weather and bring any items they may need between laps. The event is presented as a local, organized race with clear course marking, results reporting, and a community-oriented atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
