Power of Sports 5K + Wellness Social
The Power of Sports 5K is a fundraising event held at Lynn University in Boca Raton on October 25, 2026. The event includes an in-person 5K race and a virtual participation option. Registration opens September 20, 2026 and closes October 25, 2026. The registration fee is $40.00.
Ticketed in-person participants receive an official race bib, a timing chip, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race Wellness Social. Packet pick-up details are to be announced. Virtual participants are offered a finisher medal that can be mailed and virtual participation recognition for logging a run or walk remotely.
The post-race Wellness Social features wellness providers and vendors, healthy food trucks, recovery stations, cold plunge and sauna experiences, and animal interactions listed as puppies. Organizers note participation from several South Florida community groups and running clubs, including Boca Run Club, Pineapple Grove Run Club, Florida Atlantic University, Runners Xscape Run Club, Johnny O's, and Victory Church.
All proceeds benefit Bigger Than Sports, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on mentoring and providing educational resources and support to underserved student-athletes to help them prepare for life beyond competitive sport. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
