About the race
Marathon for Mental Health and Voly organise a community 5km run at Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale to mark FLIBS and the closing of M4 2026. The route is an out-and-back along the coast towards East Sunrise Boulevard, with the meeting point at Las Olas Oceanside Park (what3words frizz.labels.pursuit).
The event is open to walkers and runners at their own pace. Tickets are free and registrants may make a voluntary donation to the charity partner ISWAN. ISWAN provides free, confidential and multilingual emotional, wellbeing and practical support to yacht crew and their families, including the YachtCrewHelp helpline.
Participants can expect a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere, an opportunity to record miles towards the M4 2026 challenge for those already signed up, and refreshments in the park after the run. The first 30 ticket holders to arrive will receive a Feel Good cap on arrival.
This is a community-led event; participants are responsible for assessing and managing their own physical and mental fitness to take part. No refunds are available for this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
