Powel 5K & Family Fun Day
The Powel 5K & Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday May 17, 2026 at Drexel's Vidas Athletic Complex in Philadelphia. The event includes multiple running and walking options plus food and other family-friendly activities following the runs.

Packet pickup options are provided. Packets include a t-shirt and bib and can be picked up prior to race day; same-day pickup at Vidas is also available. Attendees should allow time for registration and opening remarks on the event day.
The event raises funds for the Powel Home and School Association. Donations and event proceeds support HSA programs designed to help all members of the Powel community participate. The HSA works to improve communication between parents and school staff, support academic and enrichment activities, and provide volunteer and financial resources to enhance the school environment.
Samuel Powel Elementary School is located in Powelton Village in West Philadelphia. The event lists access by transit and by bike or car, with parking at the Vidas Athletic Complex.
