Poverello House Papa Mike's Café Run for Meals
The event takes place at Woodward Park at Sunset View Shelter in Fresno, California on June 6, 2026. It is described as the 12th annual Papa Mike's Café Run for Meals and benefits Papa Mike's Café and Poverello House programming.

Registration for each event includes an event t-shirt, a breakfast burrito, and refreshments. Race medals are awarded to the first 325 finishers. The 5K is a timed event with awards for the top three finishers in age categories that range from 0-12 through 70 and over for both men and women.
A community activity called PBJ asks volunteers to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while runners and walkers are on course; those sandwiches will be used in to-go lunches for Poverello House clients.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at The Bike Shop at Woodward Park and on race day at Sunset View Shelter. Woodward Park charges a parking fee of five dollars.
