Course and logistics

The course is a 10-mile loop made mostly of single-track dirt with some prairie sections, several creek crossings, and rolling hills. Elevation gain is 1500 feet per 10-mile loop. Aid stations are located approximately every 5 miles; there are no drop bags available at the mile 5 aid station. All runners will be chip timed or board timed. Course records must be documented with GPS or similar electronic tracking.

On-site amenities include primitive tent camping (no power or running water), a large tent for runners and gear at the start/finish, porta potties, and power for charging electronics at the main aid station.
