Course and timing

The course is a 10 mile loop made mostly of single-track dirt with some prairies, several creek crossings, and rolling hills. Elevation gain is about 1500 feet per 10 mile loop. Aid stations are located approximately every 5 miles. All runners are chip or board timed. Course records and podium results require electronic tracking documentation.

Logistics, rules and facilities

Primitive tent camping is available on site, first-come first-served, with no assigned spots, power, or running water. A group fire will be provided; generators are not allowed. A large tent at the start/finish will hold runner gear; there are no drop bags at the 5 mile aid station. Participants must sign a waiver and follow park rules; public trail users may be encountered. Pacers, crew, and spectators are permitted without limitation. Entry deferral to the following year is possible at 50% if requested in writing before the race. All participants receive a shirt and finisher medal; 50, 100, 150, and 200 mile finishers receive buckles, and 150 and 200 mile finishers receive jackets upon completion.
