Possum Trot 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The 49th Annual Possum Trot takes place on June 19, 2027 in Roswell, Georgia, hosted by the Chattahoochee Nature Center at 9135 Willeo Rd. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options. The in-person course is described by the organizer as flat and runs along the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
Proceeds from the event support environmental education programs focused on the Chattahoochee River and its watershed. The event includes a virtual entry option that allows participants to complete their chosen distance on their own course within the organizer's stated virtual window and submit results online. A "ghost runner" option is also available in which participants are mailed a T-shirt without running the course.
Typical registration fees listed for the event include an amount for the 10K and the 1 mile Fun Run, and a separate fee for the ghost runner option. The race is noted as a Peachtree road race qualifier.
