About the race
Portland (Almost) 5K is a family-friendly walk and run held in Lannan Park in Louisville on September 26, 2026. The course includes a trek over the bridge to Shippingport Island and is described as slightly shorter than a full 5K.
The event partners with Sprak Skateboarding and the Louisville Free Public Library and features an after party with snacks, music, skateboarding demonstrations, and books. All proceeds will be returned to the community to support local initiatives through the Portland Museum.
Entry is listed at $4.99 per participant. Packet pick up takes place on the morning of the event. Directions at the park note: enter Lannan Park, follow the road left toward the bridge, then near the bottom follow the road right; the start area/Sprak will be on the left.
