Port Austin Run and Walk : July 25, 2026
The Port Austin Run and Walk takes place in Port Austin, MI at Gallup Park on July 25, 2026. The event program includes multiple distances and prize drawings. Proceeds benefit the North Huron Athletic Boosters.

The 8K course uses village and rural roads, with about half paved and half gravel. The 2 mile routes are on paved village streets. Water stations are provided on course and refreshments will be available at the pavilion after the event. Portable toilets are available at the park. The 8K run starts in the opposite direction from the 2 mile races, and the 2 mile run and walk start together. Walk participants must walk the entire 2 mile course.
Registration, fees and results
Online registration opens February 3, 2026. Fees before July 11, 2026 are $20 for the 2 mile run and walk and $25 for the 8K. Fees increase after July 11; no-shirt entries subtract $5. Shirts are not guaranteed after July 11. Timing is provided by Aldrich Timing & Race Management LLC; results will be posted after the event. Awards include trophies for overall male and female winners and awards for the top three in each age group (10 & under up to 90+).
