Thumb Coast Ultra & Relay : April 25, 2026
Thumb Coast Ultra & Relay is a multi-event ultramarathon in Michigan’s Thumb region held on April 25, 2026. The event includes multiple entry options for runners and ruckers over long distances and provides marked courses and support along the route.
The 50 mile division is a point-to-point course that moves across the Thumb from Harbor Beach on Lake Huron to the Saginaw Bay finish in Caseville. The 50K is an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at Caseville County Park. The 50 mile route is composed mostly of dirt roads with some paved and unimproved park sections; it registers about 500 feet of elevation gain. The 50K uses unimproved and gravel roads.
Race services include well marked routes, fully stocked aid stations with water, Tailwind, gels, and real food, race photography, post-race food, and event jackets and medals for finishers. The event offers generous cutoff times and additional recognition for 50 mile finishers who complete the course in daylight. Relay teams, ruck divisions, virtual entries, and pacers are available, and volunteers staff aid stations and event operations.
