Elkton Suicide Prevention 5K
The Elkton Suicide Prevention 5K is a community-focused athletic event held in Elkton, Michigan. The event serves to raise awareness, provide support, and honor those affected by suicide. Participants can choose between different formats depending on their age and preference.

The courses for both the run and walk are 5 km in length. Participants in the 5 km events are eligible for awards, with prizes designated for the top overall male and female finishers in both the run and walk categories. Additionally, age group awards are provided for the top finisher in various brackets, starting from ages 1-12 and extending through 70 and older.
Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at the Elkton Civic Center on North Main Street, or on the day of the race at Ackerman Park. The event includes a specialized Kiddie Cruise for younger participants. All activities are centered around Ackerman Park at 57 N Main St. in Elkton.
