Port A Beach Dash
The Port A Beach Dash is a beach 5K held on May 23, 2026 in Port Aransas, Texas. The course begins and finishes at Horace Caldwell Pier on the beach and follows a shoreline route.
The event uses chip timing and presents age group awards to the top three males and females in these categories: 8 & under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Mark Grosse Real Estate, 155 W. Cotter, Port Aransas, or on race day at the Horace Caldwell Pier. Late registration is offered at packet pickup or on race day. The published registration fee is $55 with a higher fee for day of registration. Event shirts and specific sizes are guaranteed only for participants who register by May 3, 2026.
All proceeds benefit the Youth Development Foundation of Port Aransas, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational and enrichment opportunities for students in Port Aransas Independent School District. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
