Port A Beach Dash
Port A Beach Dash is a beach 5K held in Port Aransas on May 23, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Horace Caldwell Pier on the beach and follows a mapped route along the shoreline. The event is chip timed and awards the top three males and top three females in each age group.
Shirt sizes are guaranteed only for participants who register by May 3, 2026. Registration fee is $55 with day of registration at a higher fee of $65. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at an office on 155 W. Cotter in Port Aransas, or on race day at the Horace Caldwell Pier. Day of registration opens at 6:45 AM at the race location.
All proceeds benefit the Youth Development Foundation of Port Aransas, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational and enrichment opportunities for students in Port Aransas Independent School District. A course map is provided for the 5K route. Age categories for awards include 8 and under, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 19, and subsequent adult decades through 80 plus.
