Pooler Juneteenth Celebration 6.19k/1.9k Run & Walk 2026
The event is the 5th annual Pooler Juneteenth Celebration 6.19k/1.9k Run & Walk presented by the Horne Law Firm, held in Pooler, Georgia at Pooler Stadium and listed at 200 Preston Stokes Dr, Pooler GA 31322. The program includes two distances:
- 6.19K (a long 5k chosen to reflect the date 6/19)
- 1.9k (about 1.18 mile, intended for walking and families)
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Fleet Feet Pooler, 1702 Pooler Parkway, Pooler GA, and race-day packet pickup takes place at the start area. Participants who register before June 12 are guaranteed a t-shirt and a finisher medal; later registrations may receive a shirt on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is described as family friendly and allows well behaved pets and strollers. Courses are designed so walking is an option. Runners 18 and under receive a discounted entry rate, with those under 12 offered a reduced fee of $15. At the start and finish there will be a small fair and post-event refreshments including water and snacks.
