Course and conditions

The course follows trail and boardwalk terrain. The organizer describes the trail as a mixture of single track and narrow boardwalks that can be slick at times. The event is held in late July on coastal Georgia and the organizer notes high heat and humidity for that period. The organizer also warns of possible wildlife on the route, including snakes, alligators, horse flies, fiddler crabs, and raccoons.
