Richmond Hill Red Hot Chili Pepper Run
The Richmond Hill Red Hot Chili Pepper event is an annual race held at JF Gregory Park in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Organized in support of Family Promise of Coastal Empire, the event features multiple distances and activities for various age groups and physical abilities. Registration options include individual entries or discounted rates for groups consisting of five or more people.
The event offers the following race distances:
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1/2 Mile Kids Run
The race environment is open to a wide range of participants. Walkers and those with strollers are permitted to take part in the races. Additionally, the park venue allows dogs. All participants in the 5k and 10k categories are timed using a chip system provided by ERS Savannah. Awards are presented to top performers following the completion of the races.
Each participant receives an event shirt and a finisher medal. Additional race-day amenities include a race packet, a race photo, and a dinner served specifically for the participants of the Kids Run. Packet pickup is organized at Georgia Game Changers on the day prior to the event, as well as on-site at the park before the races begin.
