David Lerner Associates Long Island Police Appreciation Run 5K
The event is a community road race held at Eisenhower Park - Field 2 that supports local law enforcement through fundraising and organized race-day activities. Registration is not yet open for the upcoming edition; prior-year race information and results are noted on the organizer's pages.

The 5K uses the traditional LIRRC 5K course and is USATF certified. A high-quality commemorative T-shirt is provided to every registered entrant.
Awards are presented for live race results and include top overall male and female, a memorial award to the top female overall, top finishers in multiple age groups (from 14 & under up to 90+), a top wheelchair award, and separate law enforcement division awards for top finishers and masters. Law enforcement entrants who do not win a division award remain eligible for age-group awards. There are also special combined-time awards based on combined results from this 5K and a second 5K held later in June.
Proceeds benefit the Long Island Police Crisis Foundation, with the first $1000 in proceeds directed to the Nassau Police Running Club Scholarship Fund.
Day-of-race bib pickup is located at the Eisenhower Park field house between Parking Field #1 and Parking Field #2; organizers provide live online results, same-day finish-line photos, and free video of finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
