Point 5K (0.5K) to benefit Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley
The Point 5K is a short walk and run of 0.5K (1,640 feet) held in Canfield, Ohio to support the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. The event takes place at White House Fruit Farm and features a scenic route around the pond with sections of grass and trees.
The event is designed as a family friendly, just for fun activity rather than a competitive race. There are no timing chips or medals. Participants can expect a donut stop at the halfway point, a selfie station, a Point 5K sticker cling for attendees, a hydration station, and music near the start area. Parking is available on site at no charge.
Registration is low cost with a modest fee for adults and free entry for young children. T shirts may be available for preorder. The route is mostly accessible for strollers and wheelchairs when the ground is hard and dry; attendees should plan according to weather and terrain. Pets are not permitted on the property, while service animals are allowed in accordance with ADA guidelines. Fundraising options are available as part of registration to support the Rescue Mission.
