Point 2 Community Celebration 5K

The Point 2 15th Anniversary 5K is a community celebration held at Mariners' Museum & Park, Boundary Road, Newport News, VA on May 31, 2026. The event marks the store's fifteenth anniversary and centers on a 5K running race.

Participants may walk, jog, or run the 5K. All registered runners receive a pair of Point 2 Running branded sunglasses. The registration fee is $15.00; registration opens April 14, 2026 and closes May 16, 2026. One hundred percent of race entry fees are designated for H.E.R. Shelter to support survivors of domestic violence in the local community.

The event program includes brand partner booths, a live DJ, food, and family-focused activities. Attendance is not limited to race participants; spectators and families can take part in the on-site activities and community atmosphere without completing the 5K.
