Pleasanton Run for Education
The Pleasanton Run for Education takes place on April 19, 2026 at Pleasanton Middle School, 5001 Case Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566. Registration opens January 20. The event offers multiple distances for community members and includes a category for supporting the schools without attending on race day.
Distances available:
- 2 Mile run or walk
- 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk
- 10K (6.2 miles) run
- Kids Challenge (1/4 mile) for children ages 3 to 10
The 2 Mile and 5K courses are stroller and walker friendly. The 10K is designated as a run, is stroller friendly, and entrants have 1 hour 45 minutes to complete the course. Race entry for the 2 Mile, 5K, and 10K includes a short sleeve performance blend t shirt, commemorative bib, race timing for timed events, finisher medal, eligibility for age group and overall awards for timed events, and post race refreshments. The 2 Mile is not timed and will not have awards.
The Kids Challenge is a non timed 1/4 mile fun run for ages 3 to 10 and includes a short sleeve t shirt, bib, finisher medal, and post race refreshments. A Snooze for the Schools category allows community members to support the event without attending; shirts for that category are available for pickup at packet pick up. Pleasanton Unified School District employees have a reduced entry option and must show PUSD ID at packet pickup to receive race materials.
