Proceeds from the 5K go to Pleasant Hill Schools. Registrants are asked to select which Pleasant Hill School will receive their donation; in past years the event has donated over $10,000 annually to the schools. Race-day registration is available; early bib and t-shirt pick-up is offered on July 2 at Jack's Restaurant in Downtown Pleasant Hill. Run t-shirt supplies are limited.
Middle and high school students are invited to design the official 2026 Firecracker 5K shirt. The winning design will be printed on the official race shirt and worn by runners and community members. The contest lists design characteristics and a submission deadline of May 22, 2026.
Dogs and jogging strollers are allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
