Playtri Fort Worth Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run I at Marine Creek Public Boat Ramp
Playtri Fort Worth Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run I is a multi-discipline event held at Marine Creek Public Boat Ramp in Fort Worth, TX on May 16, 2027. The event includes triathlon and duathlon formats, relay entries, a virtual option, and finisher medals for all finishers. The swim takes place in a man-made lake where water temperature in May is typically 72–76°F; wetsuit allowance is determined on race morning.
Event distances:
- Sprint triathlon: 500-meter swim, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run.
- Olympic triathlon: 1500-meter swim, 25 mile bike, 10K run.
- Run bike run duathlon: 1 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run.
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. A USAT annual membership or a one-day license is required. Chip timing is used; participants wear timing chips assigned by bib number and collect chips at the event. Relay teams of two or three share one bib and one timing chip; all relay members must hold USAT membership.
Packet pickup requires photo ID; a youth without ID must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with ID. Walking distance parking is available and limited VIP parking is offered. Entry fees are non-refundable and transfers are not permitted. By registering, participants grant Playtri rights to use race photography and video.
