Playtri Fort Worth Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run I
The event takes place on May 16, 2027 at Marine Creek Public Boat Ramp, 2700 NW Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX. It includes multiple race formats held at the same venue, including in-person triathlons, a duathlon and a virtual option. The event is USAT sanctioned and lists a USAT certified race director. VIP parking is available.
Distances and primary formats:
- Olympic Triathlon - 1500 meter swim, 25 mile bike, 10K run
- Sprint Triathlon - 0.3 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run
- Run-Bike-Run (duathlon) - 1 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run
Relay entries are offered for the Olympic triathlon, Sprint triathlon and the Run-Bike-Run. Relay teams consist of two or three members. All relay members must check in individually, must have their own USAT membership, and share one race number and one timing chip. Timing chips are exchanged at the bike while it is racked in the transition area and the bicycle must be placed on the bike rack during chip exchanges. Fees for relay entries are listed per person and team registration is managed by a team captain who registers and names the team.
A virtual triathlon and duathlon option allows participants to complete required distances at any location in the week leading up to the event. Virtual participants receive a t-shirt and finisher medal mailed after the event; shipping is limited to addresses within the United States.
