Hometown Jingle Jog

The Hometown Jingle Jog is the 2nd annual community running event held in Kennedale on December 5, 2026. The event includes a 5K race and a 1 mile fun run around the area of James F. Delaney Elementary at 180 W Kennedale Pkwy. Participants are encouraged to wear festive holiday attire such as Santa hats or themed sweaters.

Registration requires a fee of $20. Event registration opens March 18 and closes June 1. Registered participants may receive a custom finisher medal and an event t-shirt for those who register by November 20. Post-race holiday treats are provided.

Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age category, with categories ranging from 9 and under through 80 and older. The event supports the Kennedale Education Foundation.
