About the race
Planting Fields Spring 5K Walk/Run is an organized walk and run held at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, New York. The event includes a main 5K route through the arboretum gardens and trails and a half mile Kids Fun Run that allows parents to run free with their children.
Amenities listed for registrants include a live DJ, food trucks with seasonal offerings, hands-on crafts, downloadable finish line photos, free video of the finish, and a 10% discount on Visitor Center merchandise when showing a race bib. Registrants for the 5K and the Kids Fun Run are eligible for free self-guided tours of the historic Main House.
Registration is not yet open; registration will open prior to the event and a notification option is offered to inform interested participants when it becomes available. Bib pickup is handled by event staff at the venue; a self-lookup area is provided for those who do not know their bib number. Personalized race numbers are available for registrations submitted at least three weeks before bib pickup. A course map is available on AllTrails. Live online, email, or text results are provided the same day of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
