Planting Fields Spring 5K Walk/Run
This event is centered on a scenic 5K course that runs through the gardens and trails of Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, New York. There is also a separate kids Fun Run, a half mile loop intended for young runners; parents may run for free with their children in the Kids Fun Run.
On-site amenities include a live DJ, food trucks offering seasonal options, and hands-on crafts for participants of all ages. Registered participants can download finish line photos and take free self-guided tours of the historic Main House. The Visitor Center offers a 10% discount on merchandise to participants who show their bib.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race morning. Participants are encouraged to register early to receive a personalized race number; registrants who sign up within 24 hours of bib pickup are notified of their bib number by text shortly after registration. A self-lookup area is available for those who do not know their bib number at pickup.
Results are provided online and by email or text, and same-day finish line photos and video are available for participants.
