About the race
The Plaistow Community YMCA Color Run features a 5K road race and a separate Kids Fun Run at Woodlock Park Lane in Atkinson, NH on September 26, 2026. The event is organized to raise funds for the Plaistow Community YMCA’s programs, including youth development, childcare, and the Corner Stone YMCA Cancer Support Initiative. Fundraising progress and levels are published for participants, with tiered incentives: a sweatshirt at $300 raised, a sweatshirt plus gym bag at $600, and additional apparel and items for higher levels.
Race operations note that strollers are welcome and dogs are not allowed. A wheelchair registration category is offered. All sales are final; no refunds will be issued. Event swag includes a limited supply of tee shirts available on a first come first served basis and other Color Run accessories, with swag pick-up available at Woodlock Park before the race.
Awards are given to overall first place male and female finishers and to top three male and female finishers in standard age groups (13 and under, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+). Open category awards include top three non-binary finishers and top three wheelchair finishers. Local honors are awarded to the first male and female from Plaistow and from Atkinson.
