Millennium Mile : Londonderry, NH, January 1, 2027
The Millennium Mile is a one mile, point-to-point race on Mammoth Road in front of Londonderry High School, running south and finishing at the corner of Mammoth and Peabody Row. The course is downhill and open to a wide range of ages.
To reduce congestion the event uses a two wave start based on expected pace, with a break in the starting corral for participants at and above 9:01 minutes per mile. Early bib pickup is available at the Millennium Running retail store on New Year’s Eve and race day bib pickup is located at the Londonderry High School parking lot. Event parking is provided at the high school and at Matthew Thornton Elementary School.
Virtual participation is available; virtual entries may be completed before January 4 at 11:59pm. Winter hats are limited to the first 1,200 combined in-person and virtual participants. Virtual registrants earn miles toward the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket though no Points Chase points are awarded for virtual entries.
Post-race refreshments include water, bananas, and yogurt. A post-race beer can be redeemed at a local brewery with a ticket. Live results and free digital race photos are published online after the event. Finishers receive a link to a finish line video. Awards are given to top overall and age group finishers; cash awards and bonuses are based on gun time and are mailed after the race. A course record bonus is offered if the record is broken.
