Place Fell 15
Place Fell 15 is a challenging yet accessible 15-kilometer trail race held in Patterdale, around the base of Place Fell on the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District, UK. Featuring 680 meters of ascent, the course offers a mix of semi-technical trails, fields, and a short road section, with stunning views of Ullswater, Boredale Valley, and Kirkstone Pass. The race includes multiple manned checkpoints and a feed station, and finishes back at King George Playing Field.
Part of the Helvellyn Sky Ultra weekend, this event provides a great introduction to more technical races within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participants receive a wildflower seed bomb medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
