The event is a road running race over a distance of 10 km in Beverley, East Yorkshire. The course starts outside Beverley Minster, passes through Westwood common land and finishes through the town centre. The advertised event location is East Riding College, Armstrong Way, Beverley HU17 0GH.
Entry fees are published as £17 for UKA affiliated club members and £19 for other entrants. All entrants must be at least 15 years old on race day. Entry is non refundable and transfers are permitted up to the organiser's stated cut off date. Race t shirts are sold separately; orders or size changes must be made by 1 March, 10 weeks before the event. First names will be printed on race numbers, but late transfers may result in a different name appearing on a bib.
Prizes are awarded on chip times. Individual awards include 1st to 7th male and female and age category prizes for U19 and multiple veteran categories through V80 plus. Team prizes are listed for first and second placed male and female teams with three scoring runners and a requirement to wear club vests; team awards may not be presented on the day to allow result verification. All finishers receive a memento. A UKA licence number for 2026 is not yet available and a risk assessment has been prepared for the event.
