Event Overview
The Pirate Plunder 2 Miler is a themed athletic event held at the Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) Melbourne Campus in Florida. The course centers around the Student Union - Building 16. The event supports Harmony Farms as its beneficiary and features a pirate theme throughout the experience.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 2 Mile Run/Walk
- 2 Mile Virtual Run/Walk
- Li'l Pirate Kids' Run
Race Logistics and Amenities
The event provides electronic timing with immediate results, directional markers, and split clocks at every mile marker. Fluids are provided at stations along the course and in the finish area. Registration includes a tri-blend race shirt, though participants may opt out of the shirt or the finisher medal for a fee reduction.
Awards are presented in several categories, including the top three overall male and female finishers, masters (40+), and various age groups ranging from 8 and under to 80 and over. The event also recognizes the top three fastest co-ed teams and the three schools with the highest levels of participation. Specialized awards are also given for the best pirate costumes.
Additional Information
Packet pickup is available at a local running store in the days leading up to the race, as well as on-site on the morning of the event. Due to city regulations, dogs are not permitted at the venue.
