Event
The Pirate Cove 5K is a stadium run held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL as part of FitFest. The course takes participants through the stadium and finishes at the Buccaneers Pirate Ship, where the podium ceremony is held. Entrants receive a finisher medal with a Tampa Bay/pirate theme, a premium race shirt, and access to stadium photo opportunities. Race entries include free admission to FitFest and access to the outdoor festival, competitions, vendors, samples, and related events.
Race format, awards, and pricing

- Fun Run (ages 12 & under)
The Fun Run is for ages 12 and under and includes kids-only shirts; medals are provided only for the 5K. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and the top three male and female finishers in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
2026 registration pricing for the 5K is tiered: $30 (Black Friday), $35 (December), $40 (January-February), $45 (March 1-20), $50 (March 21-April 3), and $60 on race day. Fun Run pricing: $25 (Black Friday), $30 (Dec 1-March 20), $35 (March 21-April 3), and $40 on race day. Results will be posted automatically on race day.
