Event overview
The Pirate Cove 5K is a race held inside Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on April 4, 2026. The event is part of FitFest, an outdoor sports festival and fitness expo that includes CrossFit, Strongman, Powerlifting, vendors, entertainment, and special guests. The 5K finishes at the Buccaneers Pirate Ship inside the stadium.

All 5K finishers receive a finisher medal and a premium race shirt. Stadium photo opportunities are provided. Fun Run participants receive kids-only shirts; medals are issued only for the 5K. FitFest admission is included for race participants, giving access to the outdoor festival, competitions, vendors, and samples. Results will be posted automatically on race day if participants connect a Twitter account.
Awards and entry fees
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and the top three male and female in these age groups: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over. 5K entry fees range from $30 (Black Friday rate) up to $60 for race day registration.
