Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut
The event is a 5K running and walking event with a 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut held at the Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot in Williamsburg, VA (2070 Jamestown Rd.). It is co-sponsored by Colonial Sports and the Charity Partner is 4 Paws Animal Rescue, Inc. Race proceeds support spay/neuter, positive behavior training, nutrition and veterinary care.

The 5K uses USATF-certified course VA20012RT; the route follows the road parallel to Jamestown Rd., turns right onto Landfall, continues to a turnaround, and returns to the clearing area. The 1 Mile and 5K share the same start and finish location near the Virginia Capital Trail pedestrian sign. Packet pickup and on-site registration are available on race day only at the field entrance across from the parking area. Parking is in the Jamestown Foundation Settlement parking lot.
Dogs may participate in all events when accompanied by a registered runner or walker. Dogs must wear a harness or collar and be on a leash or suitable lead; no retractable leashes. Water for dogs will be available at start and finish. Due to expected high temperatures, there will be no canine awards or medals in the 5K this year.
A vendor fair with animal-friendly and community service vendors will be on site. A pup photo contest follows the races; entry fee is $5 and categories include Best Dressed Pet, Best Pet/Owner Look Alike, Cutest Pet Smile, Best Large Breed and Best Small Breed. Participants registered by August 25, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt; a die cast finishers medal is available to the first 175 finishers.
