5th Annual Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut
This event on September 5, 2026 takes place at the Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot, 2070 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg VA 23185. It combines timed and untimed running and walking options, a vendor fair, and pet-focused activities.
Distances and options include:
- 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut (untimed)
- 5K Run Walk (USATF-certified course VA20012RT)
- 5K Competitive Walk (walk only)
- 5K Virtual Run Walk option
Dogs are permitted in all events when accompanied by a registered participant, must be in a harness or collar and on a leash or suitable lead, and retractable leashes are not allowed. Water for dogs will be available at the start and finish area. Canine awards in the 5K will not be presented this year due to expected high temperatures, though dogs remain welcome.
Packet pickup is race day only; there is no early packet pickup. Participants who register by August 25, 2026 are guaranteed a race t shirt; later availability and sizes are limited. The first 175 finishers will receive a die cast finishers medal. Registered entries include one beer and one slice of pizza with non alcoholic options for underage or non drinkers. A door prize drawing includes an additional ticket for those who bring new pet rescue supplies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
