5th Annual Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut
A community running and walking event held at 2070 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA in the Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a vendor fair with animal friendly and community service vendors.
Event distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut - 1 mile
- 5K Run Walk - 3.1 miles
- 5K Competitive Walk - 3.1 miles
- 5K Virtual Run Walk - 3.1 miles
Dogs are permitted when accompanied by a registered participant. Dogs must be in a harness or collar and on a leash or other suitable lead; no retractable leashes are allowed. Water for dogs will be available at the start and finish area. Due to expected high temperatures, there will be no canine awards this year.
Packet pickup is available race day only at the entrance to the field across from the parking area. On-site race day registration is offered.
A pup photo contest is scheduled after the races with a $5 entry fee and categories such as Best Dressed Pet, Best Pet/Owner Look Alike, and Best Small Breed. Registered participants by the stated deadline are guaranteed a race t-shirt; a die cast finishers medal is available to the first 175 finishers. Registration includes one beer and one slice of pizza or a non-alcoholic beverage for non-drinkers and underage participants. Parking is in the Jamestown Settlement parking lot.
