Event overview
Pink October takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Rose Rudman Park, 450 Shiloh Rd., Tyler, TX 75703. The event program includes the following options:
- Kid's Dash
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Virtual Option
The Kid's Dash is a short 100–200 meter sprint and is free to enter. The 1 Mile is a new, untimed option with no group awards. The Virtual Option includes shipping of the event shirt and finisher medal the week of the race.
Entries, awards and other details
Entry fees listed in the event information are: Kid's Dash $0, 5K $30, 1 Mile $15, Virtual Option $40. The 5K and 1 Mile registrations include an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. The 5K is eligible for age group awards.
Age groups are divided male and female and awarded four deep in these divisions: 0-4, 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Awards are also given to Male and Female Overall Winners, Male and Female Masters Winners (40+), and Male and Female Grand Masters Winners (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
The event supports breast cancer research and lists the Breast Cancer Research Foundation among the charities it supports. Packet pick-up and check-in are available on race day. Volunteers can earn a free race code as a thank-you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
