Event Overview
The Pink & Blue 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Depot Park in Gainesville, Florida. This is the second annual event, organized by the Greater North Central Florida Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The event anticipates over 100 participants.
Participation Options
There are three ways to participate:
- Pink & Blue 5K Run & Walk: An in-person 5K event at Depot Park with a registration fee of $35.
- Virtual Pink & Blue 5K Run & Walk: A virtual option with a registration fee of $35.
- Children's Pink & Blue Fun Run: A free event for children aged 10 and under, though participants are required to secure sponsors.
Participants who register for the in-person 5K by January 10th will receive a free t-shirt. A route map for the 5K is available.
Charity Focus
The event is a fundraiser. In its first year, a portion of the proceeds was donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida.
