Pies & Pub Ta-Ta Trot 5K
The Pies & Pub Ta-Ta Trot 5K is an annual community run and walk in Middlebury, CT on September 26, 2026. The event benefits the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and directs registrations and donations to that campaign.
The course is a scenic Middlebury route with the start and finish at Pies & Pub, 1 Store Road, Middlebury CT. The race is chip timed by Fast Track Timing and a course map is available through Ride with GPS. Post-race provisions include free pizza for all participants and free beer for participants aged 21 and over.
Registration options and fees are published for different entry dates and ages: an Early Bird rate of $35 before August 1, a Standard rate of $40 from August 1 through race day, and a Kids Under 12 rate of $25. A free event T-shirt is provided to registrants who sign up by August 31. Group and team entries and sponsorship opportunities are available.
Bib pickup is offered the night before at Pies & Pub and on race morning. Parking is available at Meadowview Park Playground with a greenway walk to the start; participants are asked not to park at Middlebury Plaza. Sponsorship levels range from $100 to $3,000, and logos submitted by September 1 appear on race-day shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
