Pierogi 5k Walk/Run, Hermitage PA
The Pierogi 5k Walk/Run is a community running event held at the Butler Community College LindenPointe parking lot in Hermitage, PA 16148. The event features multiple short-distance races and family-oriented activities.
The event includes:
- 5K
- 1-Mile Walk
- Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run
The 5K offers awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & up. Timing and participant medals for all entrants are provided by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.
Fees are listed for each event. The 1-Mile Walk and the 5K include an event t-shirt and a finisher medal; same-day registrations may not receive a shirt or medal. The Kids Fun Run includes a participation medal and an optional add-on event t-shirt.
After the races, participants can enjoy a pierogi bar with specialty toppings provided by The Perfect Pair. Uncloud Coffee will serve single-origin coffee and iced teas. Ano & Co. Photography will provide professional digital photos. A DJ will be on site for event music. Proceeds from the event support St John's Orthodox Church.
