Event Overview
The Shamrock 'N Run is an annual community event entering its 12th year. Organized by the PHN Charitable Foundation, the event is held in Sharon, Pennsylvania, and serves as a celebration of St. Patrick's Day. The 2026 edition features a new route that guides participants through Buhl Park.
The event offers several participation options to accommodate different interests:

- Just Walk - A non-timed, relaxed walking option.
- Breakfast Only - Access to the post-race buffet and entertainment without participating in the athletic events.
Features and Competition
The 5k Run includes a team challenge where the top five times from each group are calculated for a team prize. Individual rankings are also maintained for age group awards and overall placement for both men and women. Participants are encouraged to wear festive attire to compete in the costume contest for the best-dressed award.
Registration includes an event t-shirt (for those who sign up by the early bird deadline), a commemorative race bib, and access to a selfie station. Pets are permitted to accompany participants during the outdoor run or walk, though they are not allowed inside the Sharon American Legion Post 299.
Venue and Amenities
The event is hosted at the Sharon American Legion Post #299, where parking is available in the lot behind the building. After the physical events, the venue hosts the "Oranges & Greens Breakfast of Champions" buffet along with an awards ceremony and live entertainment. Proceeds from the event support the Caring for Our Neighbors program, which provides community outreach, literacy promotion, and resources for patients.
