Registration opens 01/01/2026 and closes 06/30/2026. Fees listed for the events are $15.00 for the in-person 5K and $20.00 for the virtual 5K. Walkers are explicitly welcome to take part in the 5K.
Packet pick up is available the day before at Hermitage Agway and on race day at the Buhl Park casino building by the lake. Large parking areas are available near the park.
Awards include prize money for the overall male and female winners, introduced this year, plus age-group awards with five-year brackets for ages 1-14, 15-19, 20-24 and so on up to 75+. There are multiple costume award categories with gift baskets for winners, and Christmas-themed medals for award winners.
Additional event details include optional T-shirts for an extra $10, homemade wooden Christmas tree ornaments for all finishers, and post-race refreshments such as Christmas cookies and hot chocolate served in the casino building.
