BIG ONE RUN : basic details
The BIG ONE RUN takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The event location is listed as 1928 East Washington St., New Castle, PA 16101, and the 1 mile and 5k races will be held at Cascade Park. The event is the first race of the Miles of Smiles race series. Organizers note a new 5k course and that the 5k will start after the 1 mile.

Entry fees shown are $20 for the 1 mile, $20 for the 5k, and $30 for the combined 5k and 1 mile. Prices increase after January 16, 2026.
All finishers receive a Smileymiles embroidered beanie cap and a black-and-gold finisher medal. Coffee and cookies will be provided to runners and walkers.
