Registration and fees
Base entry fees listed by the organizer are $20 for the 1-mile Fun Run and $25 for the 5K Run/Walk and 5K Virtual. Prices increase after February 27, 2026. Virtual registration closes on March 8, 2026. Virtual participants run the 3.1 miles anywhere, keep track of their time, and must submit a finish time; virtual entrants are not eligible for t-shirts or race-day awards.
Course and awards
The 5K starts and finishes at Piedmont Academy and follows Hwy 126 into an adjacent neighborhood before returning to the school. The course includes several hills. Awards are given to Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and male and female age groups in 10-year bands: 10 and Under; 11-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and Over.
