Event overview
The 1929 Races take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, 350 Rock Eagle Road, Eatonton, GA 31024. The event comprises three in-person races with the following distances and names:
- Bama Dawg : 1.9K
- TTW (Through the Woods) : 2.9K
- Flat Tire : 4K
Year-end awards for the 2025 CGRS will be presented after the first race. All proceeds benefit the Georgia 4-H Foundation.
Entry, awards and shirts
Registration options are listed as: 1 Race $19.44, 2 Races $28.44, 3 Races $34.44. Registration after January 2 does not include a shirt. Pre-registered runners who order by January 2 receive one long-sleeve shirt featuring the 2025 CGRS top 104 names; one shirt per person. Stock race day shirts may be available if any remain, and race day registration is the same fee but does not include a shirt.
Awards for overall winners are a one-of-a-kind pottery item, decided by the lowest cumulative time across three in-person races. Neck ribbons are available for all runners. Points apply in two series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
