Course, registration and awards

The 5K course uses flat, paved roads in Kerkhoven. The 10K course is mostly paved roads with about 1.5 miles of mowed grass on a golf course and a short section of gravel road. Water stops are provided approximately every couple of miles.

Pre-registration closes July 22. Paper registration is available by flyer and race-day registration is offered.

After the run, the event is part of the Kerkhoven Town and Country Days and includes children’s games, a children’s tractor pull, a flea market, a firemen’s feed, kiddie rides, swimming and a parade.

Awards are given to the top male and female finishers. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age division for both men and women: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Proceeds support the Pillsbury Swimming Pool and the BKMS Cross Country Team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
