About the race
The Pickle 6K is a 6-kilometer out-and-back race held at Merritt Island Park along the Welland Canal Trail in Welland, Ontario. The course is a nice, flat, paved trail, making it ideal for beginner runners or those aiming to beat their personal best times. The event offers a fun, pickle-themed atmosphere with a pickle mascot cheering participants, along with pickle snacks, prizes, and themed giveaways like stickers and toys.
All finishers receive a T-shirt and medal. Amenities include water, snacks, washrooms, and extra port-o-potties. The race is chip-timed by Speed River Timing and takes place rain or shine.
